McGinn Continues to Go After Nickels on the Environment

I’m not sure if Mike McGinn liked my “Dad on a Bike” idea for a campaign slogan, but he’s definitely in campaign mode his first week out. He cc’d local media on this email to Nickels’ campaign spokesperson Sandeep Kaushik earlier today:

Sandeep,

Saw your comment on Publicola, and I think a mayoral candidate debate on the environment is a great idea.

I am available the evenings of April 7th, April 13th, April 16th, April 17th, and April 21st (which is also the day before earth day).  Alternatively, we could have a debate during the lunch hour if that’s more convenient for Mayor Nickels.

Regards,
Michael

[Editor's Note: As I pointed out in yesterday's post on McGinn vs. Nickels, Sandeep Kaushik is also a writer here at PubliCola. For more about the ground rules on how we're handling that situation, check out my comment and Sandeep's comment in yesterday's post.]
